Neon Revival
Flickering neon sign with electrical buzz, dripping light particles, and wall reflections.
What is Neon Revival?
Neon Revival is a free WebGL web effect in the TappyPrism library. Flickering neon sign with electrical buzz, dripping light particles, and wall reflections. It is rendered on the GPU by a fragment shader, so it costs almost nothing on the CPU and works well as a full-screen background. It ships as a single self-contained HTML file (neon-revival.html) with zero dependencies — no npm package, no framework, no build step. It exposes 3 live parameters — Shape, Flicker Rate, Glow Spread — adjustable in the browser or at runtime.
Parameters
| Parameter | Key | Range | Default |
|---|---|---|---|
| Shape | SHAPE | 1 – 4 | 1 |
| Flicker Rate | FLICKER_RATE | 0.1 – 1 | 0.5 |
| Glow Spread | GLOW_SPREAD | 0.3 – 2 | 1 |
